1. I think I read one of your stories and liked it so I commented on it. From there we started chatting and at some point I asked if I could friend you. I think. lol
2. For some reason, I always associate your name with a carnival. Yeah, I don't know either.
3. You always offer words of encouragement whenever I post rants about how wrong things tend to go in my life.
5. Oh god...I have a horrible memory. I gotta think about this one for a second. I can't remember! ::shame::

I have two majors, English and German. Currently I'm writing my diploma thesis on Postmodern Anxiety in Fight Club (so English major) and about German I don't know yet; I might just cut that one short and finish with a Bachelor's degree. My focus in German would be Mediavistics (middle ages studies) though - so not really sthg that goes along with the postmodern anxiety thing haha but I really like it!

Darn! I keep forgetting things in my replies! The job thing seems to be going pretty well. I never did get around to going to 76Carriage and checking out the stable job but I did go to the Trolley Works tour guide job thing. I'm supposed to go tomorrow or Friday and get a tour of the tour route. At that point, I guess I'll get the information packet so I can start studying up on the historical facts that I'll need to know. Once I'm done that, I'll take the test and get paid $200 for it and then I'll be ready to start giving tours.

I've also still been applying for other stuff too since the tour guide thing is just seasonal work, I think. We'll see what happens but things seem to be going pretty well!

Ooooh. Touring sounds really nice. My mom used to do tours when she was in university.
You better study your butt off so you can be the best guide there and get promoted. <3 [Is there even a chance for promotion? Maybe trainer or something?]
