*curses loudly*
Nov. 15th, 2008 05:22 pmAfter making like FIFTY mental notes to watch the Shuttle launch, what did I do? I SLEPT THROUGH IT AND MISSED IT. :( Well at least some kind soul uploaded the original feed on to Youtube.
So if you're a lame geek like I am and actually enjoy watching 19+ minutes of a shuttle launch, I've posted it for your viewing pleasure. Make sure you watch it in HQ. It's much more impressive that way. I just love how the lady jumps the gun and is like, "The engines are gimbling into position for launch." and then nothing gimbles anywhere for like 30 seconds. lol
OK, maybe I'm the only one who's terribly amused by that.
Anyway, if you only want to watch the explosive stuff, here are the video times:
Ignition and launch: 10:00min
External fuel tank/Orbiter separation: 18:50min
Happy viewing!
