My decision making skills suck
Sep. 4th, 2008 03:13 pmAs I continue to look for a job and STILL haven't been able to afford another computer just yet, I've come to the conclusion that I should have majored in something else. Perhaps something more lucrative and useful.

This no computer thing is really becoming a problem. The library only gives you 30 minutes and I can't access my flash drive where my resume is, so I have to get on the freakin' bus every day and go over to my mom's to use her laptop. Then I have to try to get all of my job hunting and email checking done in a couple of hours and then get back on the bus to go home. Before, I could check back at different sites throughout the day and I got a lot more resumes submitted that way. Now I'm lucky if I can get two or three sent off because I just don't have the sort of computer access that I need. This means it will probably take me even longer to find a job and that in turns means it will probably take even longer to be able to afford another computer.
The system I want is refurbished and only $400 or so, but without me working, we just haven't been able to afford it on my sister's pay. It's very frustrating because there's not much we can do about the situation. Maybe I can find four random relatives who are willing to lend us $100 apiece. *sigh*
