Right now Bill's cheering me up by "SQUEEM"ing. XD
No really, though. I just had to explain what I was doing with my life to TWO FUCKING NOSY ASS PEOPLE. Ok, one's not so nosy and he got it when I explained it. The other, an ex-professor has confirmed my belief that he's a pretentious patronizing motherfucking ASSHAT who should just follow the dinosaurs and die THE FUCK OFF.
I'm so pissed and I finished arguing with him like two hours ago. I even had to call my boss and vent afterwards; she called him an asshole (wish it had been to his face). XD My boss is ace. Thisex-prof ASSHAT tried to talk me out of joining City Year and tonight had the nerve to pretty much say (not in these exact words) "You're too good for City Year. You're wasting your life." Specifically, he said, in these exact words, "When are you going to get a real job?" D-:<
People need to stop telling me what to do, for real. If I'd taken ASSHAT's advice from 7 months ago, I'd be a miserable, depressed, aimless wreck. AND HE'S STILL GIVING ME THE SAME FUCKING ADVICE. I'm happier, stronger, and more focused than I've EVER been and he's telling me that I'm making a mistake by coming back next year?! By even doing CY this year? UGH.
SCREAM, Bill. Because I can't do it myself without waking people up. SCREAM AS LOUD AS YOU FUCKING CAN.
This is now the second time that I've totally connected to something said by Bill or Tokio Hotel. Not just with Scream/Schrei, but just in general with people trying to tell you what to do and tell you what's best for you just because you're young and their old(er) and think they know you better than you know yourself. I'm following the bands lead and saying a big fat FUCK YOU to anyone who pulls that patronizing shit.
