More tarot musings- this is so fascinating
I just can't seem to stop this fascination with divination. So illogical but so addictive. It's like playing the slots or something. I would've been burned as a witch during the Spanish Inquisition.
So I bought the Aleister Crowley-Frieda Harris Thoth tarot deck. Cost $25. I apparently can't buy a deck that's less that $18 or something.
Thought about it for a couple of days before purchasing because the prospect of using that deck makes me nervous; which is all well and good because I've discovered that it's so complex I can't even begin to work out how to use it. It combines so many things of which I know very little.
I don't even know if it can be used with the spreads in the book that I bought that says its contents work with any deck. I'd certainly be missing a lot of information on the card in any reading.
Aleister Crowley must have been a very interesting man. I'd like to read his Book of Thoth. I'm sure it would be fascinating and provide more insight into his deck.
Ah well, everyone is allowed a few harmless illogical activities. This is mine, apparently. I also bought this neat book for more detailed card readings.
